Harold L. Campbell, 81, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center – Silvis Campus, Silvis, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 24, 2017, with a time of gathering of family and friends to be held from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at Christ United Methodist Church, 3801 7th Street, East Moline, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, immediately following the service.  Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Harold was born on March 13, 1936, in Mendota, IL, the son of Harrison and Arline Campbell.  He married Cheryl Dergo on January 20, 1993, in Rock Island, IL.  He worked as a supervisor for A&P Grocery Stores.  He was a Lincoln Mercury Dealer in Muncie, IN, and later owned Campbell Oldsmobile in Rock Island.  He retired as the Fixed Operations manager at Key Buick, Moline.

Harold was a member of the Kiwanis Club.  He enjoyed his poker group, golf, doing crossword puzzles, watching the Seinfeld show, and walking his dog.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Dergo Campbell; children, Ruth Anne Kendall, Carlinville, IL, Jessica (Patrick) Lang, East Moline, IL, and Darin Neal, Moline, IL; grandchildren, Wynona Rose Kendall, Justus (Kim) Kendall, Emma Lang, Marcus Lang, Monet Schardt, Mariah Neal, Luke Neal, Laurel Neal, and Alayna Neal; sisters, Marjorie Taborn, Minneapolis, MN, and Barbara Downs, Mendota, IL; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Joseph Brady and Lawrence Campbell.
