Harold Lewis "Pood" Schillinger, age 77, of Kewanee, formerly of Orion and Moline, died Friday, April 15, 2011 at Royal Oaks Care Center, Kewanee.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301-4th Street, Orion. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Harold was born April 2, 1934 in Coal Valley, IL, the son of John Paul and Lydia Knochemous Schillinger. He married JoAnne Johnson on May 4, 1970 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on July 30, 2001.
Harold worked for John Deere and prior to that owned his own trucking company. He was a U.S. army veteran. Harold loved to race stock cars. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
