Harold Wenos

Harold Wenos, 96, of Rock Island died December 10, 2007 at Silver Cross Nursing Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Wednesday, December19, 2007 at First United Presbyterian Church, Moline. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Memorials may be made to First United Presbyterian Church, Moline.
Harold was born September 7, 1911 in Clarion, IA to Ole and Minnie McIntire Smith Wenos. He married Doris Clayton on September 6, 1938 at First United Presbyterian Church, Moline.
She preceded him in death on December 25, 2005.
Harold was an independent insurance agent and real estate broker. Later he was owner of Three D's Resort, Eagle River, WI.
He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corp, First United Presbyterian Church, and Blackhawk Hiking Club. He enjoyed RV traveling for several years. He was also a former member of Conover Free Church, Conover, WI.
