Hazel R. Lowry, 100, of Geneseo, IL died July 24, 2006 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Geneseo, IL.
There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Kirk, Huggins & Estserdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. is handling arrangements.
Hazel was born September 19, 1905 in Mississippi. She married Truman Otto Lowry on October 28, 1938 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death in December of 1995.
Hazel was a business woman, working as a stenographer and in retail. She was an artist who painted with oils, and did charcoal sketches. She also was a potter.
Hazel was a member of Christian Church in Mammoth Spring, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and a sister.
