Helen Dorothy Hicks

Helen Dorothy Hicks, 87 of Saint Croix Falls, WI formerly of Moline died May 4, 2006 at Osceola Medical Center, Osceola, WI.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Monday, May 8, 2006 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island with military rites conducted by American Legion Post # 246.
Helen was born January 25, 1919 in Carlisle, IN to Arch and Gertrude (McSparin) Banfield. She married William George Hicks on February 14, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. He preceded her in death on September 3, 2000.
Helen worked in food service in the John Deere Administration Building for 30 years.
Helen was a WAC in WWII serving in the Army. She loved reading romance novels and shopping.
