Helen L. Klundt, 86, of Orion, IL, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Hillcrest Home in Geneseo, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Augustana Lutheran Church, 628 6th Street, Andover, IL. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church.
Helen was born on October 22, 1927, in Lynn Center, IL, the daughter of Victor and Esther (Fransene) Carlson. Helen graduated from Orion High School and attended Western Illinois University. She taught grade school at Harmony School in rural Lynn Center. She was united in marriage to Edward A. Klundt on October 10, 1948, in Andover, IL, and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1994. She was a homemaker and helped her family on the farm.
Helen was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Andover and a women's church circle. She loved her family and her church. Helen especially enjoyed cooking, baking, and her extensive collection of cookbooks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister, Dorothy Wainwright, and three brothers, Franklin, Leslie, Russell.
