Helen C. Shaw

Helen Shaw, 75, of Moline, died November 1, 2007 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona.
Helen was born August 18, 1932 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Alfred and Ella (Ohnemus) Weideman. She married Arthur Turner on April 12, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1982. She married George Slager in July of 1984. He preceded her in death in 1992. She later married Eugene Shaw in June of 1995 in Colona.
Helen worked at the East Moline State Hospital, as a mental health technician and also was a homemaker.
Helen attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Colona. She has been a member of East Moline VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Moline American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Friend's Circle Club. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping and cooking. She also loved spending time with her family.
