Helen M. Shearer, 97, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to King's Daughter's and Preservation Society where she was a lifetime member.
Helen was born on December 2, 1915, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Carl and Mennie (Stober) Carlson. She worked as an accountant for the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1980. She married Jack Shearer. Helen was a member of Hope United Church of Christ in Moline, IL.
