Helen L. Thulin, 72, of Orion, IL died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Orion United Methodist Church, 407 12thAvenue, Orion. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4thStreet, Orion. Burial is at Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Orion United Methodist Church, where she was a member, or to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
Helen was born on February 5, 1940 in Rio, IL the daughter of Arthur and Lela (Rednour) Wright.
She married Charles "Chick" Thulin on November 9, 1958 at Ophiem Lutheran Church. She worked as an office secretary for Charles Sheesley Insurance and later became a devoted homemaker. Helen coached girls softball and enjoyed watching her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sporting events.
