Helen Marie Unferth, 96, of Moline died February 1, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Procession to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline will be 10:30 a.m. for Rite of Christian Burial services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.
Helen was born September 27, 1910 in Riverside, IA to Robert and Irma Critz Heitzman. She married Buell J. Unferth on December 31, 1936 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1960.
Helen was a clerk in the Purchase Order Department for 15 years at Montgomery Elevator retiring in 1975.
Helen was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of the Montgomery Elevator Retirees Club and the Letter Carriers Auxiliary. She enjoyed flowers, music and spending time with her friends and family.
