Herbert W. Johnson

Herbert W. Johnson, 87, of Moline died February 13, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Research Association.
Herbert was born June 7, 1919 in Moline to Edward and Edith S. (Johnson) Johnson. He married Shirley (Johnson) on February 12, 1949 in Illinois.
Herbert was a Superintendent Engineer for 15 years at the Moline Post Office retiring on December 1, 1984.
Herbert was a WWII Marine Corp veteran. He enjoyed woodworking. He also enjoyed meeting up with his buddies for coffee.
