Howard Lee Boswell, 61, of Moline, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to his family.
Howard was born November 28, 1949, in Kewanee, the son of Bill and Bette Dunn Boswell. He married Deborah J. Miles on November 3, 1972, in Kewanee.
Howard was currently employed as a youth supervisor at IYC, Kewanee. He was an Army veteran and member of the Kewanee VFW Post No. 8078. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and grilling. He had a special love for dogs.
