Ida Mae Hughes

Ida Mae Hughes, age 65, of Carbon Cliff, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Ida was born October 16, 1944 in Springfield, OH, the daughter of Elbert and Alice (Rodgers) Bachner. She married James L. Hughes on April 26, 1961 in Kentucky.
Ida worked for a newspaper in Ohio, and later as a cook for Lutheran Hospital in Moline for 10 years. She enjoyed doing crafts, knitting and sewing, and playing Bingo. Ida loved to watch her grandchildren play sports, especially football.
