Ida A. Lawless, age 78 of Milan died Friday. April 21, 2006 at Forest Hill Health & Rehab Center, East Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Ida was born November 24, 1927 in Oregon, IL the daughter of Phillip R. and Nora Mae Saur. She married Richard Lawless in 1974 in Milan. He preceded her in death in 1976.
Ida was a very happy, fun loving person. Anyone who would meet her, instantly became her friend for life. She loved life and living it to the fullest. She will be very deeply missed by everyone. Ida loved being with her family. She also loved dancing, going to the boat and Elvis. Her great grandchildren called her "Candy Grandma".
