Ilene Marlow,75 of Coal Valley died August 14, 2005 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline.
Ilene was born April 19, 1930 in Carthage, IL to Elwood and Mary (Stewart) Buell. She married Merle S. Marlow on December 31, 1949 in Augusta, IL. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2000.
Ilene was a nurses aide for 33 years working at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center and later at Trinity Medical Center, retiring in 1992.
Ilene enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting, and gardening. She collected stuffed animals and dolls. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
