Irene Buller, 91, of Silvis, formerly of Orion, died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orion. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will be in Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orion. Kirk, Huggins, and Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. is assisting with arrangements.
Irene was born on December 7, 1919 in LeClaire, Iowa to James W. and Zella Mae White Fisher. She married Merton Edward Buller on February 27, 1937 at 1st Christian Church, Moline. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1989.
Irene was employed at King's Apple House Moline and later in the cafeteria at John Deere School. She then was employed in the kitchen at Moline Café. She was later employed at Flicks, Moline. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orion where she was part of Friendly Stitcher's of the Church and WELCA. She was a member of Orion Senior Citizens and Circle of Friends. She was also an avid bingo player.
