Irene Wilma Clifford, age 95, of Moline, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services and burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Irene was born August 25, 1916 in Victoria, IL, the daughter of John and Maude Mary Irene Kermeen Hanson. She married John Wesley Clifford on May 17, 1941 in Victoria. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2005.
Irene was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Moline. She loved to play cards, bingo and to volunteer. Irene and John traveled to Florida for many winters. She was a Cubs fan and was known for her rhubarb créme pies.
