Irene Harriet Keltner, 89 of Rock Island died Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to service on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center L.L.C., Rock Island, IL.
Irene was born January 26, 1917 in Moline to John Einar and Elsa Grunhilda (Swedberg) Johnson. She married Richard K. Keltner on June 27, 1977 in Moline. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1990.
Irene worked as a beautician and later was a book binder for Royal Neighbors of America.
Irene was a member of First Covenant Church, Moline.
