Irma E. Donis, 95 formerly of East Moline passed away January 1, 2004 at Manorcare, Davenport, IA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2004 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a member. Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Irma E. Popelier was born September 18, 1908 in Thielt, Belgium to Alois and Emma DeDuysche Popelier. She married August J. Donis on June 25, 1928 in East Moline. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1981.
Irma was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of Casi where she enjoyed playing Bingo and doing crafts with her friends. She also enjoyed crocheting.
