Isabelle M. Cook

Isabelle M. Cook, 91, of Rock Island, IL, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Camp Kesem Augustana College (which is a free camp for children of parents with cancer) or to Moline Viking Scholarship Fund.
Isabelle was born on March 21, 1921 in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Louis Henry and Alice Grace (Rasch) Vaughn. She was adopted by Belle & Frank Brady. She married Chester A. Cook on August 17, 1940 in Clinton, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1983. On April 14, 1976 she retired from Lutheran Hospital. Isabelle was a member of First Christian Church of Moline and the past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge. She was also a member of Navy Mother's Club of America. She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
