Jack M Millen

Jack M. Millen, 85, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, January 04, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Continuing Care, Rock Island.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 8, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church 3300 24th St. Rock Island.  Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island.  In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.

Jack was born on February 21, 1935, in Moline, the son of Arlo and Virginia Millen.  He married Sharron L. Frazell on January 21, 1961, in Peoria, IL.  He served in the United States Army.  Jack was a member, an elder, and financial secretary at Immanuel Lutheran Church.  He served as grounds maintenance for Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.  He was a Chicago Cubs fan and loved bowling and golf.

Survivors include his wife, children, Karen (John) Cain, Kevin Millen, Stacy (Tom) Biscontine; grandchildren, Nicole (Paul) Krauss, Brian (Meredith) Cain, Sydney Biscontine; siblings, Margene Pehlke, Don (Leona) Millen, and Gary (Linda) Millen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Vanetta Nelson, and brother, Erwin Millen
