Jacqueline R Kistner

Jacqueline R. Kistner, 87, of East Moline, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 25, 2021, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Christian Friendliness, Youth Hope.

Jacqueline was born on November 22, 1933, in Chickasha, OK, the daughter of Joe and Ama (Gann) Williams.  She married Lawrence Kistner on August 10, 1957, in Rock Island.  Jacqueline started working for John J. Normoyle Co. as a purchasing agent until she retired in 1982.  She went to work at Davidson Jewelers as a jeweler since they opened until she retired in 2003. She worked with Christian Friendliness as well as Bethany Home.  Jacqueline attended Wildwood Church and formerly attended First Baptist Church in Moline where she was involved in many church ministries.

Survivors include children, Jerry (Laura) Kistner, Collinsville, OK, Donald (Connie) Kistner, Rock Island, Judy (Douglas) Niska, Bettendorf, Lawrence (Susan) Kistner Jr., Stillwell, KS, and Brent (Lesley) Kistner, Hampton; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Dale Kistner; and 3 brothers.
