James Adolph Adam, 70, of East Moline, IL died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at East Moline Nursing & Rehabilitation, East Moline, IL.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. also on Friday at the same location. Burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the family for the children.
James was born on October 17, 1941 in Hannibal, MO to John Paul and Cecilia Rose (Yeager) Adam. He worked for 33 years as a postal worker for USPS. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW Legion Post # 246. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Church in Moline, IL.
