James S. Cook, 71 of Moline passed away December 19, 2010 at his home.
Graveside services will be 11:30 A.M., Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Moline Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline.
James was born on May 22, 1939 in Moline the son of George and Elizabeth Voight Cook. He married Janet Painter on January 4, 1964 in Geneseo.
Jim was employed by Ametek in East Moline and later at Wes's Body Shop in Davenport. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Coal Valley and an Army veteran. He enjoyed fishing, restoring cars and spoiling his grandchildren.
