James D. Lofgren, 74, of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Genesis Medical Center – Silvis Campus, Silvis, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.
James was born on April 6, 1942, in Rock Island County, IL, the son of Arthur James and Helen Weber Lofgren. He worked as a retail clerk for Eagle Foods for 28 years, retiring in 1995. James especially enjoyed auto racing.
Survivors include his sons, Michael (Vicki) Lofgren, East Moline, IL, Douglas (Tamara) Lofgren, Lakeland, FL, and Anthony (Yvonne) Panno, TX; daughter, Michelle Johnson, OR; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Myres, Moline, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
