James Charles Welvaert

James Charles Welvaert, age 22 of Silvis died Sunday, January 28, 2007 as a result of an auto accident.
Rite of Christian Burial will be 1p.m.Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to his family for a fund to be established.
James was born February 9, 1984 in Moline, the son of Robert J. and Mona (Wells) Welvaert.
James was employed as a painter, wallpaperer, and drywaller for the James A. Smith Co. Port Byron where he was Apprentice of the Year for 2006. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. James was a member of the painters union #502 of Rock Island, and the Friend's Circle of Moline. James enjoyed his work and was a considerate and thoughtful person to all. James was a loving and considerate son and a generous brother. He enjoyed trips to Devils Lake, WI and hanging out with his friends. He also had an affection for animals, especially his dogs Bodhi and Charlie. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
