Janet R. Oakleaf, age 94, a resident of Angelus at North Hill, East Moline, formerly of Moline died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at her residence.
Per Janet's wishes, her body was cremated. A memorial services will be held 2p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church (1330-13th St., Moline). Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to Arrowhead Ranch (12200-104th St. Coal Valley, IL 61240) or Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Janet was born June 4, 1911 in Louisville, KY the daughter of Jacob and Elsie Klein Rosenheim. She married Joseph B. Oakleaf on April 29, 1935 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1972.
Janet graduated from Louisville High School and attended Cambridge, MA High School, which was a preparatory school, for two years. She also attended the University of Louisville for 1 ? years. Janet was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, and the Outing Club, Davenport. She also was a member of the Katherine Butterworth Circle of King's Daughters and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the former United Medical Center. She enjoyed playing bridge and her great love was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and grandson Joseph Oakleaf on January 30, 1997.
