Jeanette F. Miller, age 93, of Sherrard, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Anthony's Nursing & Rehab, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Swedona Lutheran Church. Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301-4th Street, Orion. Burial is at Swedona Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Swedona Lutheran Church or a family fund to be established.
Jeanette was born March 22, 1918 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Anna Eklund Swanson and step father, Thor Carlson. She married George A. "Bud" Miller on February 26, 1949 at Salem Lutheran Church in Moline. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1994.
Jeanette was employed at Deere & Company for 10 years. She was a member of Swedona Lutheran Church and WELCA.
