Jeanette M. Pierce, 89, of East Moline, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Coal Valley Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Jeanette was born June 26, 1922 in Moline, the daughter of Charles C. and Jennie Knaack Jasper. She married Roy R. Pierce on March 27, 1942 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2000.
Jeanette attended Rock Island Schools and had worked for Y & S Candies in Moline. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Raymond and Charles C. Jasper and sister Katherine Hall Kurth.
