Jeff S. Silver

Jeffrey S. Silver, 66, of Carbon Cliff, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at his home.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Colona American Legion.

Jeff was born on April 20, 1952, in Houlton, Maine. He was born to biological parents Nina and Charles Russell but was adopted by Roy and Anna (Finley) Silver who gave him a wonderful life. Jeffrey attended Berkley School of Music in Boston, MA for four years and played 26 instruments. He loved singing, playing music and cars, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his soulmate, Rebecca Sherfey, Carbon Cliff, IL; step-son, Tylor (Manda) Severns, Colona, IL; step-daughter, Cheyenne Sherfey, Carbon Cliff, IL; son, Justin, Maine; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; and a granddaughter, Maddison Severns.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
