Jeffrey Scott Paxson, age 50, of Moline, died Friday, May 6, 2011 at his residence.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Private family burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo, at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
Jeff was born July 1, 1960 in Geneseo, the son of Orval and Mary Torreyson Paxson.
Jeff was employed as a welder for John Deere Harvester, last working in May of 2009. He was a 1978 graduate of Geneseo High School. Jeff also worked for the family business, Allied Excavators, and various other jobs. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Shovelhead "Aggie".
