Jeremie J. Ross, 18, of East Moline, passed away, Saturday, October 17, 2020.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd. Moline. A private family funeral will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, with a public repass immediately after. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
Jeremie was born on December 31, 2001, in Silvis, the son of Shalonda Glenn. He worked for FedEx. Jeremie played football and baseball for Alleman. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. Jeremie was polite and loved to help others. He was a great uncle to Nahvi and Niomi. Jeremie had a contagious smile that lit up the room.
Survivors include his mother, Shalonda Glenn, Davenport; sister, Alaejah Ross, Davenport; maternal grandparents, Ignacia (Eric) Dozier, East Moline; grandmothers, Cruz Cervantes, Silvis, and Lue Berdia Glenn; aunts, Wilma Rogers, Susan (Clint) Anderson, Brenda Glenn, Karen (Eric) Brasch, Tressie Glenn, Tiffany Rivera-Gomez, East Moline, Angela Glenn, East Moline, Christina (Kerry) Rivera-Scudder, Rock Island, Chalandra Clark, Rock Island; uncles, Garvey Glenn Jr., Davenport, Jayden Glenn, East Moline, Ronald Rivera, Moline, Julian Rivera, Silvis, Christopher Rivera, East Moline, Luis Cervantes, Bettendorf; close cousins, Deijah, Tre, Tanacia, Ameiah, Kiera, Kaniya, Nahvi and Niomi.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Garvey Glenn, Sr. and brother, Julian.
