Jimmie "Jim" L. Wadkins, 67, of Rock Island, IL, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at his home.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Jim was born on August 5, 1944 in Heber Springs, Arkansas, the son of J.L. and Mary Geneva (Travis) Wadkins. He married Robin Weimer on April 25, 1997 in Moline, IL. Jim worked as an Iron Worker for Local 111. He enjoyed outdoor activities very much. He loved fishing, boating, Nascar, and football.
