Joan K Hansen

Joan K. Hansen, 74, of Moline, passed away, March 28, 2024, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024, at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.  

Joan was born on April 11, 1949, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Coleen D. (Franks) and Kenneth B. Williams. She married David R. Hansen on August 6, 1966, in Rock Island, IL. Joan loved to go shopping with the grandkids, shopping for new purses, shoes, and blouses. She loved to draw, especially with colored pencils. Joan loved to crochet, knit, needle point, and cross stitch. She was special to everyone and was like a mother to all.

Survivors include her husband, David; daughters Tammy Altemeier, Tracy (Dan) Schmidt; grandchildren Taylor (Brandon) Smith, Kayla Altemeier, Alac Altemeier, Chloe Schmidt, Alexa Schmidt, Kylee Schmidt; great-grandchildren Payton, Cameron, and River Smith; brother Mike (Deb) Williams.

She was preceded in death by son-in-law Shawn Altemeier and brother Bill Williams.
