Joan J. (Mannen) Langley

Joan J. Langley, 89 of Rock Island passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Friendship Manor.

Private graveside service was held at the Cordova Township Cemetery.

Joan was born on May 3, 1932, in Moline, Illinois the daughter of Theodore and Eva Marie Allison Mannen.  She married Lloyd Langley on July 23, 1949, in Rock Island and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2005.

Joan was employed in sales at Turn-Style, retiring from Venture after 25 years.  She enjoyed her retirement taking trips, especially to Las Vegas, with her friends and loved cooking and baking for them.  Joan had a small circle of friends whom she loved and treasured in her life. Joan and Lloyd enjoyed being fans of the Chicago Bulls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a son, Jeffrey.

Joan was grateful for the skilled care provided to her by Friendship Manor/Silver Cross, and Heartland Hospice.
