Joan M. Tolmie, 90, of East Moline, died January 12, 2010 at OSF Saint Francis Hospital, Peoria.
Rite of Christian Burial will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. with a rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery and Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Edith Hans Circle of King's Daughters.
Joan was born April 3, 1919 in Kewanee to Bert and Phyllis (Faulkner) Kirley. She married Robert Tolmie on April 29, 1943 in Kewanee. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1983.
Joan was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline, Edith Hans Circle of King's Daughters, and Short Hills Country Club. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge.
