Joan M. Vanderhelst, 83 formerly of East Moline died May 3, 2006 at her home at Hillcrest Nursing Home, with her family and friends at her side.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006 at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. There will be a visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline.
Joan was born January 25, 1923 in Kewanee, IL to Frank and Madeline (Duussliere) Vanderhelst. Joan attended and graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School.
Joan will always be remembered for her enjoyment of helping others in need.
