Joan E. Williamson, age 84, of Colona, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her daughters.
Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Private family graveside services will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice.
Joan was born May 14, 1927 in Davenport, the daughter of Ingward and Irene Peterson. She married Donald J. Williamson. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1984.
Joan is survived by daughters, Cathy Rogers, Colona; Bonita Griggs, East Moline; and Sharon (Robert) Anderson, Colona. She has 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Sue Cutler; and son Harold Brandmeyer.
