JoAnn Maiers, age 65, of Davenport, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at her home.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. on March 10, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
JoAnn was born August 7, 1946 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Edward J. and Delores M. Goldsmith Nefzger. She married Gary A. Maiers on June 15, 1968 in Earlville, IA.
JoAnn graduated from Xavier High School in Dyersville, IA, and also from Mercy School of Nursing in Dubuque, IA. She retired in 2010 as a nurse with Trinity Medical Center. JoAnn was co-owner of Robin Gary Photography. She loved camping, boating, fishing and an occasional trip to the casino.
