Joanne, K. (Fischer) Adams, age 68, of Rock Island, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
Joanne was born June 20, 1941 in Chicago, the daughter of Joe and Agnes (Clavey) Fischer. She married James "Jim" Adams on October 31, 1964 in Morrison. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2009.
Joanne was employed as a CNA at Rock Island Health Care Center, Pathway Hospice and Harbor Light Hospice. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. Joanne was very active with her Drum Circle that met at Black Hawk State Park. She enjoyed reading and her dogs.
