John R. Clark, 69, of Colona, IL, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at his home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013, at Riverside United Methodist Church, 712 16th Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to an education fund to be established for his grandchildren.
John was born on March 10, 1944, in Albia, IA, the son of Charles Otto and Nellie (Morgan) Clark. He married Sherri Powell on November 5, 1966, in Moline.
John worked at John Deere Davenport Works and retired in 2004 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. John loved the Iowa Hawkeyes, golf, and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Ruth Elaine, Marion, Lorraine; his nephew, David; and his niece, Linda.
