John R. Downing

John R. "Jayder" Downing, 55, of East Moline, died October 13, 2008 at Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendorf.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 4-6 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave. Moline. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be made to the family. After the visitation there will be a gathering of family and friends at John's Downtown Tap 635-15th Avenue East Moline.
Jayder was born June 1, 1953 in Moline to John and Marjorie (Allison) Downing. He married Brenda Duncan in the summer of 1986. He was a maintenance man working at the former East Moline V.F.W. and at the Eagles.
Jayder enjoyed fishing, playing pool, watching the White Sox and hanging out with his friends.
