John E. Kling, 68, of Lynn Center, IL died December 10, 2008 at his winter home in Yuma, AZ.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2008 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. Orion. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial is in Swedona Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
John was born December 12, 1939 in Maquon Township, the son of Clarence Kling and Flossie Carroll. He married Anna Postin on May 1, 1961.
John was employed at Case I H in East Moline retiring in 1993. He was a member of Swedona Lutheran Church. John enjoyed woodworking, camping, working on cars, fishing, panning for gold and swapping recipes.
