John "Ed" Edwin Lindstrom II, 65, of East Moline, IL, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, IA.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Military Honors will be performed by the Moline American Legion Post #246. Memorials may be made to his family.
John was born on October 17, 1946 in Moline, IL, the son of Edwin E. and Violet M (Hornecker) Lindstrom. He married Margaret Martin on June 8, 1991 in Davenport, IA. For 34 years he worked as an Expeditor for Case IH. John enjoyed fishing and camping very much. He also held interests in model trains and carpentry. John especially loved his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin E. Lindstrom, and sister, Ella Elizabeth Lindstrom.
