John "Jay" Smith

John "Jay" James Smith, age 37, of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of East Moline, died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Coney Island Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow the service. Memorials may be made to the family.
Jay was born February 18, 1973 in Davenport, the son of Ivan Lee and Christi (Graves) Smith.
Jay was currently employed as a body guard. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing and watching football, and spending time with his family.
