Jon H. Druckmiller, 69, of Taylor Ridge, died December 24, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave, Moline. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Taylor Ridge. Memorials may be made to Pathways Support for Austism Research (5411 Hwy 50 Delavan, WI 53115).
Jon was born November 26, 1938 in Rock Island to Howard and Vida (Hill) Druckmiller. He married Floretta Bonnen on September 20, 1958 at Zion Lutheran Church in Taylor Ridge.
Jon and his brother owned and operated Druckmiller Bros. Gypsum Supply Co. in Andalusia. He worked as a painter and dry walling contractor for the Painter's Local Union #502, Rock Island, retiring in 2001.
Jon was a life long member of the Painter's Local Union #502, Rock Island. He enjoyed being outdoors especially fishing and hunting.
