Joseph George Brown, age 96, of Moline, died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial is at Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Joe was born December 5, 1914 in Rolla, MO, the son of Isaac L. and Hazel Zimmerman Brown. He married Lois I. Leanhart on April 2, 1938 in Clinton, IA. She preceded him in death on June 17, 2000.
Joe was employed as a machinist for John Deere Harvester from 1943-1975.
