Joseph DeBaker, 69 of Hampton, died Monday, June 6, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13th be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to New Life Fellowship, Moline
Joe was born on December 10th, 1941 in Moline to Joseph and Jennie Almblade DeBaker.
Joe was a steam hammer operator with the Moline Forge until 1980 and the Rock Island Arsenal for 28 years retiring in 2008. Joe volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol. He loved NASCAR and was a fan of all racing. Joe loved fishing and was heavily involved with HAM radio his call was KA9 KFY.
