Joseph "Joe" F. Cook

Joseph “Joe” F. Cook, 83, of Silvis, passed away December 26, 2024, at his home.

Private services will be held at the Rock Island National Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Joe was born on June 23, 1941, in Moline, the son of Chester A. and Isabelle M. (Vaughn) Cook, Sr. Joe was U.S. Veteran, having served in the Navy from 1958-1962. He had been employed at the former Farmall, retiring in 1995. Joe was a member of the former First Christian Church, Moline.

Survivors include his siblings, James (Mary) Cook, Lenox, MI, Ken (Lori) Cook, Orion, Margaret Butterfield, Moline, Charlotte (Bill) Tolmie, Moline; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chester “Duke” Cook, Jr.
