Joseph George Senatra, 87, of Silvis died September 24, 2007 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2007 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline where military rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Parkinson Association.
Mr. Senatra was born December 14, 1919 in Chicago, IL, the son of Sam and Angeline Senatra. He married Mae Jane Kein Larson on January 31, 1953, in Kankakee, IL. She preceded him in death.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army stationed at Amukta Island located with the Aleutian Islands. He received the Bronze Star.
He was employed as a quality control inspector at Eagle Signal Corporation, Davenport, IA retiring in 1984 after 32 years.
His interest included bowling, golf, gardening and sports television.
The family of Mr. Senatra would like to thank the caregivers at Illini Restorative Care and Dr. Jim Petre for their compassion and excellence in caring for Joe over the years.
